All flesh is like grass and flow’rs of the field.
Its goodness shall pass, our glories all yield.
The breath of the LORD makes them fade and decay
But God’s holy word shall forever remain.
The word of our Lord is living and strong,
More sharp than a sword, discerning our wrong.
Reproving, correcting, whenever we roam.
Restoring, directing, and leading us home.
O, Jesus, draw near and meet us today.
Bless all that we hear and help us obey.
