Faith shall our hope assure
In God who holds us fast.
We see his promise sure
In light of saints long past.
Their faith a sign of unseen things,

By faith was Abel’s guilt
Made clean through shedding blood.
By faith the ark was built
By Noah for the flood.

As exile in the land.
He trusted God would give
The city he had planned.

From Pharaoh as a boy
