In Christ is love from God on high.
In Christ is peace below.
In Christ is joy throughout the night
Until the dawnlight glows.
So turn to Christ and with him go
In his own Spirit’s power!
Turn from the wants of flesh and know
God’s kingdom evermore.
In Christ is patience with our sin.
In Christ is kindness given.
In Christ is goodness formed within
And we are brought to heaven.
In Christ is gentleness embraced.
In Christ we learn control.
In Christ are fickle fears replaced
With faithfulness of soul.
