Jesus is all our hope of heav’n
In him the Spirit’s gifts all giv’n.
Salvation’s all in him alone:
In him is every blessing known.
Born and conceived from sin’s claim free
That we might pure and holy be.
Our curse remitted in his cross,
Redeemed, acquitted, through Christ’s loss.
Christ bore the hell of heaven’s rod
To reconcile mankind to God.
His death has justice satisfied.
His blood our hearts has purified.
Christ buried sin, within his tomb,
Then rose again, our second womb,
To clothe us in immortal joy.
His praise shall e’er our tongues employ!
Christ entered heav’n, to make us kings.
Safety and help his Kingdom brings.
In him all blessings shall appear
With Christ as judge we shall not fear.
And so from Christ we take supply,
To no-one else shall we apply.
’tis all in Christ! In him is all!
Upon no other shall we call.
